Our schools have been enthusiastic about hosting international students as well as international educators. The Teacher Internship Program provides teachers from around the world a one-month internship in a Nova Scotia school. The teacher intern works as an assistant to a Nova Scotia teacher.They engage in ongoing professional development and share teaching strategies and curriculum ideas. Teacher interns live with a host family. It is a wonderful opportunity for the teacher to share their culture with a Nova Scotia family and school.
